Don't take every criticism as hate. You really need to work on handling that...
The reason I want you to do it is not to make my server more secure or find vulnerabilities, it is because I want to see your abilities.
This also gives you the opportunity to prove yourself. I don't really mind if you don't do it. ^^

Edit: We actually had people already connecting us to tell us that they got annoyed because they couldn't find any way into our system whilst they usually do on most "amateur" systems they test. :p So...
Yes I was just thinking on making pen testing for free, for an user that hated here from first post, and for a service I don't even know if you're the owner... I was thinking on doing that but you just said it before I could... you know... XD

I thought you understood by pm but looks like you keep trying... gl bro maybe someone wants to work for free :)

Why you don't ask mappers, scripters, etc who are offering services and not giving any example or anything??? That posts are empty and older... but there is much people here that needs to talk when they hear "hacking"

Of course I'm not the best one, of course I'm a beginner, but where's the problem on making some scans for basic stuff and taking a very low budget?
It's not legit??? Why you have to criticize the experience level of someone that's CLAIMING TO BE A BEGINNER and that's trying to get some cash?? If the intentions are making the post dirty and making the interested people to run away GRATZ! VERY SMART AND POLITE, KEEP GOING ROAD TO DESTROY THE WORLD WE LIVE....

I'm just telling the true from first post I'm saying clearly I'm a beginner so wtf are you trying to discuss here if I can do this or that... IM A FUCKING BEGINNER IF YOU WANT TO DISCUSS FOR THAT THINGS GO TALK WITH A PRO LIKE THIS ONE -> http://www.irongeek.com/

Leave beginners try and start why I should not take a job if someone wants to pay for it? And why should I demonstrate things to people that are not even interested in this services? Because come on, most of you are not writting here because of interest in hiring an ethical hacking... It's another goal

And even I only knew to do 1 simple thing and didn't had any experience, if I'm able to complete 1 task and someone is interested in that task, where's the fucking problem???

Its cool that you guys want to challenge him, and give tips. But we are not 10 year olds here, everyone that read this post can CLEARLY sense the passive agressive comments and statements you all have against him. He wants to take jobs about specific things that he feels comfortable with.

He is clearly stating that he is new, but have done things before. Also he got a +rep from a job that he accepted and clearly finnished. Instead of writing all in this way that you all write to him, do it in a correct manner like a senior in c++ or what ever u guys are doing should.

It's not hard to see that you guys are attacking him in a passive way that supports no one. If you want to give him tips, do it in a nice manner. If you want to see hes knowledge and give him a challange, then HIRE him. Why should he waste hes free time to prove a random guy on OTland what he can and cannot do?

Im all in for that he should not take payments for jobs he cannot finish, but from what I can see he has no intention to take on jobs that he is not comfortable with. Jeez :p

Okay maybe I should have led with this:
I honestly don't want to insult you. But when it comes to IT-Sec on this forum, I will criticize mistakes.
I'm happy people here start finally looking into the topic a little bit more (even though they are 10 years late....)
I do applaud when someone wants to make systems more secure, don't understand me wrong, but don't pretend to be able to do more than you actually are able to do.
I myself wanted to make lot's of tutorials on how to secure your system on OTLand, the reason I stopped after making 2 was simply because the interest isn't big enough and most server owners don't seem to care if their data gets stolen or simply think "I won't get hacked for sure" until they do... Also the staff of OTLand, I won't state names, weren't too nice when I showed them a huge security issue in their scripts and simply told me to offer a solution, which showed me that they don't care at all if someone on OTLand uses their scripts and gets fucked because they didn't notice that mistake.

and for a service I don't even know if you're the owner...
Yeah, I already noticed that as well when I PMed you, and it's a good thing that you don't simply trust me saying it is mine.
Though there are multiple ways to prove that ^^
You don't have to "test" my server. It was more of an offer than a request. :)

One question.
If you don't find any vulnerabilities on the server that someone asked you to check, are you still taking money from them?
Asking because your experience and skills are not so amazing to be able to check and test everything. If you say that their server is fine, you are pretty much scamming them.

They deserve to be scammed if they are greedy enough to host a server (ergo profit) but do not take an hour or two to read a few fundamentals and acquire basic knowledge. In my opinion, either do the job yourself, or hire someone to do it from the ground up if you have none of the required qualifications (you is not referring to you, as in oen432 but generally speaking - clearing this up before we start another keyboard war here).

You mean to tell me that 6 years ago when I started working as a Web Developer (JavaScript,PHP,Angular,) I was not supposed to take a salary from the principal/employer because I was a beginner? I think my friend you have your ass higher than you shit. Just because you've been sitting and programming for 20 years in a cubicle, onanizing to anime, doesn't mean everyone has to do like you....

Exactly bro

When you are beginner you charge as a beginner so you work a lot of hours and get paid a little

When you gain experience then your rate increases and you can charge more

Simply as that, everyone has to eat

there's a huuuuuuuuuuge difference when working as a junior in a team vs selling your service as a "security pro".
I honestly don't mind juniors in my team making mistakes, as long as they can learn from them.
I'd be hella pissed if they told me they were going to fix some issues 100% and later on learn that they had no idea what they were working on.

If you're 6 years into software development, and can't see the issue with this thread, there's really something wrong with your knowledge.

@OP I don't think anyone wanted to shit on you, but if your title says that you will "securize" servers, you're just asking for it.
You're a beginner and there's nothing wrong with that, but misleading people who have no idea is just a shameful moneygrab.

I'm a freelancer with few years of experience and 100% delivery rate
Lately I joined freelancer platform so you can check my latest works and reviews: Adrian H. Profile (https://www.freelancer.es/u/kuhicop)
I don't know why you guys are so angry with me... I'm doing my tasks fine and my customers are very happy... don't know where is your problem

As per your knowledge you should understand there are different levels of "securize" and depending on the budget I will go deeper or not...

I really would enjoy a lot to see your reaction after reading my reviews xDDD something like: facepalm

Mate, nobody is angry at you. It's just shitty to mislead people.
The problem is that you're ranking yourself as someone whose got enough knowledge to actively make people servers/services secure, when in reality you're just learning.
You're just showing signs of the Dunning-Kruger effect, we've all been there, you just need to accept it, and try and not mislead people.

Looking at your profile, you're saying you have 10 years of experience that is clearly bullshit, try to be honest and people will understand.
I'm not trying to shit on you, you just need to better represent an accurate level of knowledge instead of trying to mislead people.

Of course bro I'm lying to everyone
LOL XD
And my reviews are all fake sure
I started coding in 2003 when I got my first computer, make numbers

About hacking it's some passion I got and I will be always a student and learning... every hacker is like that you never know everything and you're constantly learning...

I never said I can bring 100% security, that is probably what you're trying to make me look or what you want to hear.. but you're not the first offended guy because I offer my services but you never worked with me and don't know shit of how I work xd

Okay, you're earned some hate.
How in the flying fuck, do you have 10 years of experience in discord bots if discord was founded in 2015, and how do you have 10 years of experience in telegram bots if telegram was founded in 2013?

You're honestly delusional, or straight up lying to your clients.

It'd look way better if you took our criticism and fixed your bullshit claims.

I hope one day you can look back at the posts in your thread and say "ah, I was pretty dumb lying about my knowledge"

Mate, me and everyone else can bullshit our ways through simple stuff and gets good reviews, you're honestly just too dumb to realize that you don't know enough.
One day, you'll realize "ah shit, I know what they meant in the forum now" and it's honestly not gonna matter to anyone, we were all in that position, but we weren't posting threads saying otherwise.

If you think "100% reviews and 100% deliveries" mean anything, you're just honestly dumb right now.

You're in a forum where a lot of people are really good engineers, working for top 100 companies in the world, and you're trying to show them you're actually good.. you have a bunch you learn, and I hope one day you can look back and laugh at your inexperience.

@kuhi enjoy otland toxic community XD From my side What i can say: You stated clearly on the beginning, that You are beginner and can do simple tests. Just ignore @Rombadr, this community has much more toxic ppl like him. You're right, that juniors should also earn junior's salary.

Yeah I'm surprised how toxic and how much haters can people be
I'm just offering a basic task for a basic price...

I even worked for free a lot of times, shared sources and answered questions
Also spotted few vulnerabilities or hacks in top servers that after years are still not fixed
I've shared methods for hooking and calling functions in otcv8 from your own hack

I'm not trying to show I'm good or anything wtf I'm acting like a beginner and student trying to be humble because I have 19 years experience since 2003 I got my first computer and started playing with .xml servers

People gets offended very fast for nothing...

Why are you quoting my post in Polish? Since you have trouble understanding my post, I'll make it simple for you. If you've read a bunch of tutorials and write code without understanding what it does, don't have the audacity to ask for money for your services. If you want to improve your skills while also providing to a community, provide for free until you are comfortable and experienced enough to work in a professional environment. Then you'll get paid. My post wasn't meant for you but it's quite interesting that you were troubled by it.

My post was meant for the OP who claims to be a senior developer with more than 10 years of experience and a security pro and writes code that contains this line and this hardcoded connection string in an open source project and managed to obtain said seniority in 3 years.
