How did you find Tibia?

I found Tibia by searching for top free online games in 2009. Tibia popped up and I looked at the videos of it and I decided to try it out. I loved this game so I decided to start paying for premium and "pking" haha. It was honestly the best 2D game I have ever played (besides mario).

Back in 2002-2003 a friend of mine found it and then told me about it. We played in Amera and Antica at first, and then moved on to Dolera. We stayed in Rookgaard for months -- especially in Dolera -- because we thought that's the only "safe" place and back then there were hundreds of people on Rook. We eventually went to the mainland, but that's a story for another time.

Yeah I remember when a lot of people played and tibia didn't have those crappy updates for training offline and whatnot. It was more fun to do it yourself and go skill .
