How much each player uses of bandwith?

I've been talking to my cousin, he's a developer of java based software for mobile companies etc, so, I've been talking about my server, DDoS, bandwith etc

I've asked him if 3mb upload should be enough for a home dedicated server, like, 3 mb up only for the sv, and he told me to use an program to check the use of bandwith per user on server, so I can calculate and stuff

Does anyone knows the average consume of an player per kb/sec?

Based on this I can see the max number of players supported by the server and stuff ^_^

it's about from 15 kb to 25 kb depends on spells haste runes potions etc
