Try changing the priority of it (ctrl + alt + delete, and there select process -> set priority -> test with high at start.)

Or... You might want to try free up some ram, try to close unnecessary programs and services, and setting RME's proccess priority to High. Also, check RME's preferences for something that envolves performance... Don't try to edit an global map with a sv running in the same computer, it won't be smooth lol
hey i have 4 Gb ram and 3.21 proccesor and got a shitty lag ,my pc seems healthydude, mapping have nothing to do with video card.
You need memory ram and processor, don't expect the performance to be much better with a new graphic card =s
