What you were experiencing was most likely you having
Vertigo while in your sleep. This is a rare case, but it explains you waking up and seeing things that would normally be in your dreams. Your Retinas usually do not move around while sleeping, but in your case, they do. Vertigo is the rapid movement of objects that are not moving, or other words, shaking of the eyes. In your dreams, you see this "Black Hooded Man", and it will go away as you sleep. But with this, it will burn the image of the "Hooded Man" into your eyes, making you think there is some pedophile looking over you while you sleep. As for the Sleep Paralysis, it can also be caused by not sleeping correctly, or other words, scared to wake up and see a Hooded Man in front of your bed and be paralyzed.
With Vertigo, you should stay away from all electronic devices, such as Computers, Televisions, etc. For at least a couple of days. If this continues to happen, you should go see a Somnologist and tell him about this. He will most likely tell you to either stay away from electronics again, or use some over the counter medicines such as Bynadryl. If it still continues, you should go tell your doctor, he will most likely preform some sleep thing with Valium included.
Sources: I've had Vertigo for around 5 weeks now. It's pretty annoying, but I don't see people out of my bed.
I'm not a doctor, but you should definitely go see one, what I said above is an answer, but it might not be the solution.
