I’ve been developing a custom OT server with a complete revamp of every class.
So far, I’ve created the following:
Scout (starting class) – A light ranged fighter with a short burst of speed for a few sqms, increased dodge chance for a few seconds, and a volley of arrows fired in the direction the character is facing.
Hunter (promotion) – Specializes in tactical ranged combat. Has various shot spells such as Venom Shot and Paralyze Shot, along with new trap-based abilities like Slow Trap, AOE Trap, a high dmg trap and Entanglement Trap.
Squire (starting class) – Essentially a base-level knight. Has a single-target Taunt, a Shield Block that reduces the next incoming hit, and a Single-Target Blow for focused damage.
Paladin (promotion option) – A holy warrior who can buff themselves to gain mana, deal extra damage, or heal allies when striking. Also has access to holy-area spells and a few healing abilities.
Knight (promotion option) – Functions similarly to the traditional Tibia knight, focusing on raw physical strength and defense.
I’m currently working on the magic archetypes and would love feedback and ideas for the starting class, as well as opinions on the promotions below:
Mage (promotion) – Focused on elemental damage (energy, fire, earth, and ice). Uses elemental summons for support, acting as the elemental counterpart to the classic sorcerer.
Necromancer (promotion) – Specializes in damage-over-time effects and undead summons. Can enhance its summons with buffs.
Druid (promotion) – Versatile nature-based class. Can choose between two playstyles: a healer with moderate elemental damage and summons, or a melee DPS/tank form using Metamorphosis
If possible, give ideas for spells, but keep in mind that the server is meant to be ultra-low rate, so nothing too overpowered
