Hi, i was wondering, is it possible to have a 9.83 server with 10.50 dat/spr in the OTC?
i want to have the latest animations, and that's only possible with those dat/spr, so, is it possible? >.<

It is definitely possible. The easiest way for you to do this would be to take ObjectEditor and open 10.50 files, then go to Save As/Compile and save them as 9.83 format.

EDIT: Of course, you would need to edit your items.otb file too afterwards.

but if i save it as 9.83, the dat/spr would be 9.83, so i would have the same initial problem...cause if i want the animation speed editor to work (OB) i need the newer dat/spr i think

Well you never mentioned that you want the speeds feature, but anyway - it is still possible for sure, since I've seen such conversions done, but I don't know the technical details completely of how to perform it so I hope someone else can help you out.

wel i put 10.51 dat/spr into the folder in things (otc) and i get a message of wrong dat/spr :(

I will repeat here my PM

The improved animation is just a feature. Currently, the OB ignores the animations for old versions, but when the OTC fully support this, I'll add it to the old versions. If you are using OTC not need to change the version. Soon will have this feature, as the 'extended' or 'transparency' options.
