Just wonder, can I compile a server TFS linux but on Windows?

I mean, I will compile Tfs on my comp ( windows ) and it will work on dedicate server ( linux )

is this possible?

yes is but is stupid -.- also is recommended to compile the tfs in the comp that u'll use to host your server (even if you have for example ubuntu, and you'll host in debian, even when both are linux, go re-compile in debian).

I'm not 100% sure here, but it should be possible.

I think you use something called "Cygwin" to do it, but like said, I'm not sure.

ye i know, that better is to compile on server where ill host, but i can't compile old tfs ( 8.0 ) on debian,

Tutorials (fe. elf tutorial ) are not working with older TFS...
