I actualy (suprisingly) don't like it
it's probably the spamming of different borders and lots of gravel that makes it look very spammed

Showoff mapping = spamming details and making something look beautiful and full. I suppose I should just make the cave with no sand and very few rocks and just place a tortoise on every square <_<.
 
I know you said the piece were for showoff, but anyways...

imo, that didn't work out so well, because of the spamming :s
