Both of you are morons, Macgregor a bit more of one.
Sweden is one of the most powerfull countries in the world. Nowadays, it is not all about the military power the country has but the economical influence.

Sweden stand for peace and breaking that peace by entering someone elses country is against their moral code. Though, they do support FN´s voting result of entering Libya but they will only support with withholding peace after the attacks and building up the country again as a democratic country.

Once again, Sweden do have the resources to launch an attack on Libya but they choose not too.

They don't have the EXTRA resources for an invasion, once again launching a naval invasion is not just troops, you have to have transports, warships to protect the transports, bombers, fighters to protect bombers, warships, and supply lines, transport ships for supplies and transport planes, it's not that simple....Yes I agree economic power is what counts a lot now.

@Macregor
Russian military is shit, as it always was, it's always behind technologically. The only reason Russia is so strong is because they have a LARGE army, immense manpower, and nuclear weapons. The conventional Russian military is very poor, and no I doubt it would be able to take Sweden before the international community responded with force...No sensible country or alliance would allow Russia to take Sweden.

What I mean is that if they want to have enough resources for an invasion, they can easily manage. As I said aswell, Sweden is famous for it´s political standards and what they stand for therefor they will not waste their time with something as silly as "war". They believe in peace and work for it.

And thats why Sweden is not a World Super-Power country, Economy is important, but it is not essential, Military might IS essential, a country that can not defend itself in a case of conflict or war, it's more likely that they will fall quickly.

A country that doesn't invest on their Military are not investing at all.

Peace is nice, but it doesn't last, for any reason, big or small, someone will start a conflict that can turn into a war.

Sweden do not need any big military force as it is a neutral country that will take no side in a world war.
Therefor it is respected and will be protected by other countries in UN or the EU.

That is stupid and invalid.

Lol economy isn't important? How do you think the government INVESTS in the military? You're a fool. Economy is more essential than military, without a strong economy the government DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY OR RESOURCES to invest in a strong military.

During the missile strikes by allied forces, a Libyan military compound has been attacked.
Gadhaffi is nowhere to be known after the strike. Is he dead? Is he alive? We don't know.

Finally, the international community is acting. I think they should coordinate air strikes with the revolutionaries. I do have a question, does anyone know how the anti-government protesters and soldiers are acting towards supporters or Gadhafi? Are they persecuting them? I think they should allow PEACEFUL pro-government protests if a few people want that, however most of the pro-government protesters are violent. This might not be a good idea though since techincally the rebels made their own country, and they are in wartime, so laws may be different. But does anyone know where I can learn more about the rebel attitude towards pro-government PROTESTERS, not Gadhafi's military and mercenaries.

I'm sure most of them have switch sides by now.

That is probably true, but I'm not sure where to find more information on this. Because in my opinion, if the rebels oppress any pro-government PEACEFUL protesters, than it is not good. But up until this point the pro-government protesters are very violent, which probably means they were mostly bribed, just like during the Egyptian Revolution.
