Lua IntelliSense in a Visual Studio

Is there a way to configure a Visual Studio or other IDE/editor to put hints about available methods, fields, global variables in LUA?

I'd use this:
OpenTibia - Sublime Text 3 - Lua TFS Autocomplete

But you won't be able to check for syntax errors.
