You add a actionID on the item, preferable an actionID that is not in use. I use 1020.

That depends if the item is placed in the mapeditor. Else he will have to attribute the item an action ID everytime it's dropped by a creature or created in any way.

Alright. So you want ONE item, to be stuck in the inventerior for ever? You know, he will not even be able to move it around in the inventerior, if you makes it unmoveabled.

You don't have to give us a double explaination. If you say, unmoveabled & then not able to throw it away. It makes it all two different deals.
As well, when you say that with the ring. If you want a ring, to be not moveable, AFTER that the player has enabled the ring (weared it), then we're talking about LUA scripts.
