Need a custom notepad!!

I need a notepad which will have shown number of lines in the text... like this:

1| Hello.
2| My name is xxx
3| I work in yyy
4| I am not noob
5| xx
6| xx
7| xx
8| xx

Anyone knows where to find such a thing?

Exactly what I was going to suggest.
Alternatively, if you're not a scripter - just use Ctrl + H to jump to a line in a word document (by memory).
