I also wasnt able to read the whole thread just read that the server is beta now and you guys will open another one. Hopefully next week or earlier the new server comes out @Fare @Ecstacy

LOOOL who would've known the illiterate, immature, new "owner" of Ascalon hadn't and was unable to update Ascalon whatsoever. It's a complete shame to see the great server I played so long ago result to this.

Although @Ecstacy seems more professional, he also seems inexperienced, and I'm unsure as to how Blazed Druid managed to keep him in the dark in the complete lack of new content when he is also managing the files.

@Fare joining the project is fantastic news, where we may actually see some progress with this server. Despite the circumstances, don't rush the content. Everybody has to remember that without the "updated" content, Ascalon still has a ways to go to be relaunched.

Let's close this chapter of Ascalon and start a new book with new content, close this thread and have @Fare / @Ecstacy create a new one.

We're still deciding and planning about what to do, there will be news and final plan this weekend; I'm kinda very limited on free time, so I wont be able to work as much as I usually did, but now I'm doing it completely as hobby, not being relying on Ascalon's success, so as long as Remy(who's doing on same purpouse) will stay motivated, we gonna continue supporting.

Recently a few mates I know have got hacked in real tibia.
I would NOT login or use their client under under any circumstances.

Client should be reviewed by an moderator of OTLand, therefore I gonna report it.

Last warning guys, DO , NOT , LOGIN with their client, or even download it / install or whatever.

As Fare has stated, the client link has been disabled.
I've used stian's client generator to create the custom client and had no awareness of this infection as avira hadn't detected anything.

lol This is all so very shady. The guy who had ascalon files before didn't have any real content added just as everyone had said and most knew he probably didn't. Now the client has been hacking people and now Ecstacy and Fare are saying the link was disabled and they give a fix to the dll hook as if they knew it was going to happen. I have 0% trust for this team. Somehow Blazed Druid got the Ascalon files out of nowhere and now Fare suddenly returns? If Fare was so quick to hand over his server files to this guy what makes us think he wouldn't just hand over his forum account as well?
I'm not understanding how at one point Fare didn't have time for this server but now he is ready to jump back in because everyone revealed Blazed's bullshit.
