+1, he definitely hasn't been on the server for more than 2 minutes(if he even cared to try it, perhaps he just read info, should update first page.. :p)
 
I guess you would agree with these "Starter Pokemons" :

Staryu, Bellsprout, Sandshrew, Spearow, Magnemite, Ekans, Growlighte/Vulpix, Machoke/Mankey, Cubone. (10 starter pokes, pick 2? I think picking 2 of these would help start alot and not just 1 poke xD)

And then when you reach level 15~ you can do some quest to get an "Adventure PokéBox" and when you open it you get randomly one of these under, would be fun since WHO DOESNT LOEV TO OPEN BOXES? and it would help alot too continue ur lvling :).

a: I can't help you. You have to wait for an admin to come online


q: where can I get money?
a: from selling water gems and magikarp pieces. Don't panic you will soon be able to sell pokemons and other loot in shop.

@Nikodada, i like your idea this would bring people to the server, and it's something different for a change, @ up, all of these bugs need to be fixed, all pokes need to be put in the map, when tosuxo has done this i recommend restarting the server 1 more time, making a post on forums saying this is the real thing, people will come play, atm it's 2 buggy, you get bored easy, theres no quests, no loot, no npcs, when all of this is done do what i told you to do im sure you will get alot of people playing, you don't have to listen to me and you probably won't im just telling you what's best, other then that your doing a great job :)

I don't see why any of these bugs would require a restart after fixed
 
Ok sit there and tell me why people are going to want to play a server that's not even half done? then when its done and there's lvl 100's whose going to want to play? nobody
 
If the idea is to reset when players start reaching lvl 100, because no new players will start, I think it's all a waste anyways ;P

Further there are no advantages within these bugs, there are on the other hand alot of disadvantages for those who play now compared to peopl who join when the bugs are fixed..

Clearly why he should tell people this is just a beta, that way people can test it, find bugs for him, give him idea's on what to do and fix, then when he's done all that, Open the server and people will start playing
 
To fit in with the Red/Blue/Green/Yellow theme, you can currently start with Pikachu, Charmander, Bulbasaur or Squirtle. They will be level 14.

Work to expand the map (and, because of this, spawns) are coming soon.

Because Saffron is the Premium city, the badge there will not be needed, for now, to enter the Pokémon League Competition, until I can work a way of players being able to access just the gym.

Also, Pokemon Seller's little brother has opened up a shop in Cerulean. He isn't very cash-rich right now, so he doesn't offer as much for your pokémon, but he's ready for business ;)
 
bump:
Cerulean is almost complete. Just a few more trainers for the bridge, then a couple of short script thingies, then there will be a proper quest in Cerulean. It won't be anything major, but it's the first of many planned quests :)
 
small updates made today:
site less buggy (guilds works etc)
updates to the layout (not finished by a LONG way)
!online now shows staff separately so you don't have to ask in help if we're on
 
I'm waiting for the "broken pokeballs fixed, no more broken pokeballs" :D

It's tough to lvl up a pokemon properly, and it's even tougher when it has to be done again

I'm working out where it comes from, but it's hard when I don't get full replies from players who are pissed their ball broke.
"OMG BALL BROKE!" I replace and ask what happened just before it broke "bye" is normally the reply.
 
It has nothing to do with ultraballs, as I had normal pokeball buged twice. I've been doing the same thing, minues a few things to narrow down the possibilities, five times.

Fishing, using all moves, switching pokemons, making my pokemon move to a certain place using order, healing them while in battle in cerulean pc feeding and loving my pokemon, making it level up. -next time i login buged

Then I have been fishing, using all moves, using my pokemon to move using order, feeding and loving them, switching pokemon while fighting, making it level up. -next time i login buged

Then I was fishing, using 2 moves, using my pokemon to move using order, feeding and loving it, making it level up. -next time i login buged

The last times I kept doing the last thing for a while. I noticed that when I used my Aerodactyl to move to a certain place, for best result when fishing massives of pokemon, he buged often. However, when I used my Alakazam, I was able to level him for several days before he buged. It may be because I started using order to move him later on.

Now I'm almost certain that it has to do with moving the pokemon in a specific situation, I'll describe it;

Normally using the order command to move a pokemon your trainer says "move there x" and the pokemon goes there. But, sometimes when the pokemon has been victim of many position changer moves from enemy pokemon, it will come to a "standstill" where it won't move unless I move my trainer, then it will come back to me. It won't move when I use the order buttom on the ground either, and here's the place where I think it may bug, when using the order buttom while it won't move no matter how amny times I use it, because it's come to a.. "standstill" as I call it. It's been frozen so to say.

I came to this conclusion since I tested the theory, I never used the order command before moving my trainer after my pokemon been dispositioned by enemy pokemons. And it did not bug

I feel like I've been researching this for long while leveling my pokes, which now are 4x weaker than I trained them to be:P
