[News] The Death Penalty

well i woulda killed them all if it wornt for the fact i cant move and heal wit curga when i got 6 mages on me spaming para and shit. and exana mort dont heal enough to live off of to cure that para crap :p no owrrys i dont plan on no more 45 min battles that was retarded and now i got blessings shich barly help but they save me 2 lvls out of a total 12 lost.
 
Yes, Red if there was something to fix about the death penalty it is the blessings. Keeping the expensive at 5 topaz is fine, just make them worth the money and save you ALOT more.
 
That would prob even start ppl waring more and such to cause they wouldnt be so scard of loseing shit. Not a bad idea royal. xD
 
I think people should be punished like you do now for dieing, it brings excitement into the game, but you should give people a chance to save themself and by making an expensive blessing system which reduces death penalty greatly is a good alternative.
 
I don't like it either but it doesn't bug me that much. however with the br's not fighting as much as they did with the old death penalty, they don't even step out 1 sqm with the new death penalty =S and also the player who dies looses more exp than the killer gainning from his/her level. but these days exarion's team has been fighting a lot P: but the br's is a whole different story.
 
Ya they penalty is a lil high i think thats why like no one is waring really as much lately. Maybe make blessings work more or lower the death thing down a lil something I want war idk about the rest of you but I do xD
 
So knights are overpowered now -.- like sandflea (acid burn) said they heal more if they are higher level and wahat about mages ¬¬ if im lvl 1k i will still haling 2k :S.. So knnight dont waste money on pots cause his curaga heals around 8k-10k or more.. You need to fix the curaga to heal the same to all levle or not the same but not that much of difference now nobody can solo a kngiht with curaga+high level+skull cracker = a battle 4 ever
 
dude we r fucking tanks we hit for shit compaired to u.. so how does that make us overpowered? cause we survive longer than u? yet u hit more than us..
 
I will have to say the balance of vocations is absolutely PERFECT right now! Knights do as they should, tank damage and deal little. They are cheap to keep going because they cant die but they cant really kill... Pallies can tank a decent amount of damage especially with full donors, but cant kill or attack as hard as a mage. They are exactly how they should be, all around vocation. And you mages, think to RL tibia. They damage and are damn expensive to play. Always have to restock on runes. Well that is the con to mages, they can last forever if you have pots, and they can attack hard. As far as PVP goes i dont think anything is wrong with the vocations.

As far as soloing... once you get to level 700+ they shouldnt be able to be solo'ed. Any vocation for that matter, they have enough mana/hp to survive as long as they have the pots. At that level is where PVP gets fun, it requires alot more stragety which is a huge part of the game.

If I had to chose anything to change it would be the death penalty or the blessings, with either changed this place will be so fun. Vocations are balanced perfectly and with higher levels it will be fun to bring stragety into war rather than just blindsides
 
The vocations have been EXCELLENT when I played this OT except pallys being underpowered (But now Red has fixed that) xD..
 
I as well think the death penalty is a bit too high now. When it will be lowered, new wars will take place anyway. To the blessings they should be good at 1 mil I think.
 
ok i know this is an old thread but i thought i would read up on the death penalty because i havent looked into it. im not quite sure i understand what happens does the "killer" die after he kills the same person so many times? or does the "person who got killed" lose more lvls when pked? eather way cant u just make it so that someone who gets killed so many times by the same person goes to jail or something?
 
Hey, so I just popped into this thread to see what's up after reading the "Latest News" from October 15th. I know it's over a month but it still is an important issue.

So let me break it down:
-On the first page it says that people want to battle less because of the higher risk. Essentially, what I propose is to raise the reward for risking your lives.

I know it's harder than it sounds. It would require a lot of time, effort, and testing to find the correct balance that rightly rewards the pkers, without encouraging experience sharing. This of course meaning letting a friend kill you for experience. Raising the amount of experience you get from a kill is one option, but there is another.

By this I mean that the reward shouldn't necessarily mean experience in my opinion

In the past, people have suggested using trophies (or golden nuggets) for prizes. Personally, I don't think it's a bad idea depending on what the prizes are. Again, we don't want to encourage letting people kill you just to get golden nuggets.

With all this said, leave your comments. NO FLAMING

Maybe the average level of the nuggets will decide what price u get?

U can lower the curaga and uh heal when our health is matched of a sorc mana and health put together because both knight and sorc lvl 600 with all donor items
the sorc will always win
so I disagree with that
also a sorc with high lvl and rb and pgysical ring=battle for ever

thats where ur wrong a sorc full donor and knight full donor is even as ask ves.. me and ves cant do shit to each other..
