Cant donate for levels, Private hunting spawn was removed from real donor list your probably checking old. Enough said. Please read before you speak Edward

Most OTs will not last without donations. If you don't like it, don't play them, simple as that. You say it's a "big FAIL", yet you do not realize that OTs can only function so long before they're too expensive to maintain/not worthy of wasting time on anymore.

When donations are truly donations, then it's cool. But past years, it's been unnecessary shit.

But what happened to hosting a OT for the fun of it?
EDIT: I started like 7.6 servers, and none of those had donations and were fun as hell.
EDIT2: BANNED FROM PSOTING ANYMORE...1337 posts!

When they are gaining money from their server, they have a reason to keep it up, and a reason to have some decent amount of service towards people. Now I'm not saying all servers with donations are successful, that would be silly, I'm just saying that I wouldn't trust one that isn't at least reasonably successful in that category because the thought of it being up one day and down the next because of being unable to pay for the upkeep of everything is terrible.

Not sure who tristan is but thank you. And Taffy i dont keep any of the money... I dont need money, But i do need money for otservlist coins, domains and other things for server. I have tons of money in rl but dont have credit card so i need donations to pay for day to day server things.

Oi, explain how Green Zebra would keep hosting on all of our dedis without any income.
It's not like we would take money out of our own pockets to host an OT.
If people want a better server and more stable, they donate.
Simple as that.
However I don't like the private hunting places etc, donations should be limited. Not being able to buy the best shit out there etc.
And I started 7.1 servers, that didn't require any donations due to the massive amounts of bugs
Sure, go and sacrifice all your bandwith to let people play your OT..
In my case with my big family and all, I can't allow the bandwith to be taken up due to possibilities of lag. And i'm not purchasing a server computer just to host OTs on at home.

Also.. There is no custom donation items. That i love, if it would be custom donation eq now that would ruin a server..

and they are all 30-40 like 5 people u will get killed easily, this server is a special server a nice custom server ruining it and abusing it by a powerful donation items will make it worseMy point is that there should be another way for correcting things up ,maybe lower the powerfull items removing the ice shard and putting the earth shard, alot of people i know are upset by the donation stuff, Believe me this server was the best when there was nothing to donate. There should be another way to fix this.. honestly i hate donation.

Yeah i agree abit.. But ice shard is also 10$, it alot of money if u wanna buy a whole set of em. But i do think that u can add new shard later when the player have made more progress.. So, like atm you can only buy earth or ice shard.. Then later on you fix so you can buy next tier. And not put all shard directly on the donation list.. But i think it's already like that. So thats good

Well nr1. the set parts aint that big of an uppgrade, its not like iceshard set will make u an unstoppable force. nr2 have u even thought of the host of a server? Its not like u click on a button and u automaticly get an server that is running for free... Moist gotta spend LOADS of time creating the server and maintencing it. And he gotta pay for it aswell. So there is absolutly nothing wrong with donations since its an essential part of keeping the server up and running.
Less blah blah Q.Q whine cries over the donations unless u wanna pay for keeping the server up urself.
