I know that many of us wanted Iryont to start Tibianic HR again. Trying to find a similar server we have been trying different servers which only lasted a brief moment due to ddos and other issues. Issues that Original Tibia had too. But now most of that has been fixed and Original Tibia is now finally a stable server as I noticed. I have no lagg other than some freezes while it's save, I haven't been in a single kick for days now, all due to the work the admins have put into it.
However! Even if the server is now stable and really fun to play, I still feel as it need changes. And people I talked to feels the same and thus I am making this post in order to get the rest of your opinions. Because Fribben is most likely going to read this post (I'll make sure of it!) and if the majority of you fellow oldschoolers out there agree with me, I'm sure he will consider it aswell.
So here it goes:
Every server have their resets in the beginning. Even games does. This is called a BETA. This is the time where players can get a taste of the server before it is released for real. They report bugs, admins fix crashes, they balance things, and in this case; they counter ddos. The high exp that has been on original tibia have helped with alot of this aswell. It has made sure the process could be done faster. This might not have been an actuall beta of the server but I think we should look at it that way and have Fribben implent changes that makes this server a more of a long-term (high-rate) instead of this ridicilously high experience where you don't even give a shit if you die. Tibianic had a reset. In both lowrate and highrate, very shortly after arrival. When they fixed things and balanced it all out. So did almost every other serious oldschool server. And I want this one to have the same so we all can start over for real this time:
1.
Change experience table to:
1 to 8 - 10x
8 to 21 - 7x
21 to 31 - 6x
31 to 41 - 5x
41 to 51 - 4x
51 to 61 - 3x
61+ 2x
These rates are more suitable for a more long-term highrate. They are similar to the rates that were in both tibianic HR and mastercores/Faloria
2.
Magic/Mana Rate:
The current rates are 5 mana/2 sec without promotion and 8mana/2 sec with (for mages)
I'd like you to change that to 4 mana/2 sec without promotion and 4 mana/1 sec with (and then modify the other vocations to similar changes obviously)
But also decrease the mana rate from 2x (current one) to 1x. It will not be insanely slow due to the rather quick mana regen anyway. You just won't reach ml 45 the first day as you do here.
3.
Multi-client
I understand why multi client is legal. However, by allowing infinite multi clients it really ruins the economy too much. I would suggest you allow 1 multi client / IP. And I am aware you are constantly banning botters which is great, but then you also need to check the IPs of the players several times a day and punish them. I suggest these punishments:
First time one use more than one multiclient: all low level accounts connected to that ip (aka all the multiclients) gets deleted.
Second time one breaks the same rule: Same as the first time, all multiclients deleted and he is permanently "banned" from using any multiclients at all.
Third time the same player breaks the same rule his main char is deleted just like when they use any kind of bot.
Obviously, with all these changes it needs to be a reset.
