this has probly been suggested before, but you could host an OTLand chat room, where we can log in on our Forum accounts and just speak with each other.

well, it could be nice with the shoutbox, but it will be to much lagg in my oppions, well we could test it for about 2 weeks then, if it's good or bad?

What about that?

A two weeks test if Shoutbox would work out in OtLand?
 
Sure they will, at least I will. And I know some others that will.
 
mIRC is just a client for the IRC protocol, who is forcing you to use it? There are many other IRC clients like irssi, XChat, ChatZilla etc.
