Yes, drill a few holes in your table! Hah no mate, just put something between your table and computer to lift it up a bit. Preferably at the end of the laptop so it would still have the proper balance.

PLEASE excuse my horrific drawing skills.

The blue dot/line represents a block object which would hold your computer balanced but would also rise it a bit, which would allow air to pass through.
