Basically I'm going to university soon (couple years) and I'm still thinking of which universitys to go. In England (London) its around £15,000 a year which is quite expensive, and in the States its around $20,000 dollars a year which is MUCH cheaper.

Would it be a good idea to go there? I've talked to my parents and they don't mind since I have a lot of family there anyway.

I don't think you should be putting a price on your future education, particularly if you're planning on getting into a good university.

Don't make sense, it's not like the price will rise in 2 years lol, and I plan on going to an average affordable university.

Go to which ever gives the best courses in the field you want to study? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

What I was meaning was even if it's expensive, look at what it offers. A lot of employer's will care if you have a Degree/Bachelor's qualification that fit's their job needs, but they'll also care about where you got it from. So even if it's expensive, as long as it offers a really good qualification that suits what you want to do later on, then sweet :D

Study where you want to study, regardless of the price. I am studying at NITH for 11200$/year and I am having a blast. :)
Only been there for a year and I already got a part time job as an paid game programmer. :)

Studying in other countries than the one you're from is always good, since you'll be able to experience other cultures and learn a lot of things you wouldn't have gotten to learn if you would've studied in the country you're from. I'm also gonna assume you're not planning on attending any Ivy-league universities, considering how much you said you'd pay in tuition/attendance fees, so I have no idea how the quality of the education you're planning to attend is.

hey man!, thats a good thinking you got. lemme enlighten u a little bit :)

First! check your local university options, not all countries have bad education systems, and perhaps with a good score you can get an scolarship inside one of the best unis in your country.

Of course going overseas is definitely a great choice for some reasons mentioned before in here and well, better education "reputation", in my opinion we can be the best professionals in the world if we like what we do and we make an effort, no matter where you graduate from. but shh dont tell that to anyone, it isnt fair. there is in fact higher level education systems.

ok straight to the point!
U.S = less $$$$ spent on education! and it's of really good quality.

U.K = lots of money, dont really know about their education system but unless you're going to a UNIVERSITY i wont advise you to go there... BUT that's just me. remember its your decision!

you can always try new things!, you got Canada, same as U/S but harder standards for students, Australia, Amazin education, > REALLY EXPENSIVE<(I started my uni here as an international student and i've come to the conclusion is one of the best choices i''ve ever made in my short but well lived life :p) You got south america, the University of Sao paolo, the University of Chile, the University of Buenos Aires Argentina, althought not many people really want to speak spanish or portuguese and the education system is different. wouldn't know about the cash you'll spend in those but I can tell you it might be less than in the U.S or any other.

and of course european universities such as University of Madrid... spain, Germany is such a great place to study politics or philosophy..

Good luck!! hope this info helps! if u'd like to know more i can send you a pm with some links to some unis I mentioned here.

hmmm
