I'm almost at the same place with sand and tar and i will do some borders with fine sand like one you have in cave, in rl haven't seen it but i think it should fit and will look little different, you also may try it

Solid clean mapping, detailed but not too much. Some talented people on this forum put way too many details into their mapping, making it look like art, but the most important thing is balance, and this looks very playable. Good job!
