We are now communicating everyone that from now on, the domain pokemononline.com.br will no longer be available for access. Nintendo request us to disable public access to the website based on the copyrights and trademarks that are owned by Nintendo.
We clearly state that our objective was the anime/manga advertisement and every image, logotype, names concerning to the anime contained in the web site, belong to its creator Satoshi Tajiri and Nintendo.
We are sorry, but as we don’t have the copyrights to use the Pokémon trademarks, we have no options to keep our site.
We are now contacting Nintendo in order to get an authorization to use this trademark and do not lose this amazing fan site. As soon as we get the authorization the web site will be available.

I think they are closing the website because it contains material property of nintendo, i don't know if they can close the game by the same thing because they are using the nintendo sprites, but the sprites are edited so i really don't think that this is the end of PO

That is what exactly i was going to write, they closed the website because it contains property of nintendo, but they can open a website without any pokemon image... and still can be a cute website

Using "Pokemon" as a name it's considered copyright infringement based on the copyright license.. since it's a an unauthorized website and it's making money out of donations i doubt they'll get such permit.. people just talk without knnowing shit..

In order for an online website, service, game or whatever to run and accept donations legally it must be register and pre-approved (At least in the US)
Since it can be considered as a public service not a personal cause
