Change perspective or size. It is small and ugly - poorly detailed.
Get rid of that pink background. Those "naruto" sprites are like camaleons on that background.

1. I don't see "market" for OTS based on that stupid anime. http://otservlist.org/ doesn' show any Naruto or any other anime-themed servers. And I remember some old projects. Which means that not enough people played there.
2. This flat style is simplistic and very "primitive". He will not learn anything useful from making this kind of sprites. He will just waste his life to gain useless skills. I doubt there is any application for that skill on polish job market.
3. You have anime in your avatar. I doubt We can consider your posts to be fair and objective.

This is FORUM. Forums are for DISCUSSION. I just want to remind You that “discussion” is type of discourse in which people exchange their opposite opinions/views and try to present convincing arguments...

And yes... This style is very much primitive. It kinda resemble those old drawings from Stone Age era and early art from ancient Greece or Egypt. Flat design with any “sense of dimension” or however is that called in English…
Size (and subsequently details) of that sprites is also making them primitive.

Examples:
Boruto – Is He nude black guy or is He wearing sexy black porn-latex…?
Madara – is he handing that „stuff” with left arm? Because his left arm looks like right arm, and the right arm is in “resting state”.
Raikage – What is that square behind him? Is this some kind of halo? Is this part of his hair style…? Is he wearing ball dress…?
I have ~8years old monitor with low density of pixels and I cannot notice any details on those figures.


But hey… Call me prick… Also You should call me blind fu*ker who will whine about not seeing details. Besides that I’m also ignorant fu*ker because I didn’t see that stupid kid’s cartoon which is the only way to understand these sprites, which kinda defeats the purpose of this type of art which is about SHOWING stuff to viewers…

I agree with you when you say topdown doesn't help develop many skills, but I would support if he start there and try to do different things after.

I didn't say you use "crap" to describe his work, but everything you write creates a context and when you get together several words that + the imperative form it looks aggressive to the people.

You like to be rational when you write, right? Your homework is think about that:

• People won't stop to like things because you say it's crap (even if it is).
• People won't stop doing things because you think it's a waste of time (even if it is).
• People won't hear you if you talk that way.
• You don't need to change to please the world but the world also won't change to please you.

Otland's Small Art is more foccused on showoff/portfolio for freelances than discussion (C+C).
That's why most of the topics here you can't point criticize / edits with freedom, because people feel offended. You're talking about their products in front of their customers, right?
