Thats insane! They must make a killing, I was wanting to advertise my server on there but I guess I will have to set-up Donations!

the 90 euro per 24 hours is true, the other value is estimated by some factors that are not going to be the "real" real value, it worth even more than that and yes they do lots of money with otlist

domain name, search engine position, stability, years running, amount of users and so on...

Yea but but 90% of domains are worth around 1/8 of what an appraisal is. What you look for is turn around and back linking. I have a domain valued at 900k but I could only get like 90$ for it.

indeed, but what if you was otservlist owner earning lets say... 10k $ per month, for how much would u sell it? take into account everything I said in my early post and add the scripts and automation of system so almost everything that you have to do to gain your money is "nothing", for how much would you sell it? xD I guess you took my point now when I say that it worth more than 20k $

I know of people who got 200+ players for having a counter there. Imagine your server gets 200 people and only 10 of them donate 10 euros. Do the math and you will see that in less than a day you will get your money back.

No, Just To Advertise!, Like on tibia loader the ip changer, and to have ur server highlighted! It makes it stand out way more, Also you can be on the featured server page! But its a ripoff if you don't have a decent enough server!

It's not a ripoff, in that case you'd have to put more effort into your server than just downloading some realmap and trying to put it online.

not really, even rl maps that advertised in otservlist got LOADS of players , even pay2win evo's like heroland which reset 7 times in 2 weeks or so still had 200+ because of that countdown so really it's worth it

It costs to get a countdown or to get highlighted. Simply adding your server is free.
