Hello Otlanders,I have been trying to run a website with XAMPP it worked the first time I tried and then when I restarted my PC Appache Wouldn't Start And I Don't Know Why,Does anyone know how to fix it?

it says port 80 in use by "svchost.exe" but when i try to turn it off the whole pc stops working;/

i dont use skype,

search a process called PMB.exe

how you connect to your router? because there are that needs port 80 to connect and is imposible to make a website ( friend problem xD ) you need to change listen port from apache

i connect to my router using wireless[i just find signal on my laptop and connect to it]

to configure router i just go to my 192.168.1.1 and i write in the password and username

mmmmmm... you have to find the program that uses svchost.exe and close it
try to find using this:
start<execute<cmd
then write
tasklist /svc
try to find using this:
start<execute<cmd
then write
tasklist /svc

is dificult to know what program is using the correct svchost.exe taht we are searching because that process is from system :S

try to quit win defend, is using svchost.exe, maybe is your antivirus, dont know
