1760180252306.webp Is there a way, to see how (for example this one) some areas would look with ingame light effects? I mean I want to see how this cave would look like for a player ingame, where everything is dark and only the torches are lighting up

Yes, the rme ot academy offers an option regarding light.

Compiling on Windows (https://github.com/hampusborgos/rme/wiki/Compiling-on-Windows) - do I have to do all those steps to run it? There's no simpler way? >.>

Only click in View -> Ingamebox -> Show lights/ Show client box (RME 3.8)
Detail: t only displays the lighting effects when the "Show customer box" option is checked. In OTacademy RME, it displays the entire effect.

Thaaank you but mine doesn't have it :-( I've tried newer versions of RME (they probably had this function) but they were not compatibile (or maybe I did something wrong) with 8.0 or 7.7
Only click in View -> Ingamebox -> Show lights/ Show client box (RME 3.8)

do you know, if there are any newer map editors with such function and compatibile with 7.7 and 8.0 ?

regards

Okay, I've managed to run newest RME, and it's compatibile with 8.0 and has light effects - it just needs to unpack another file into the RME client, exe.dll and thats it :-) thanks everyone
