10. Reminding users about search function:
There may be a search function on the forum, but how helpful is it if when you use it you find threads where the replies are "Use the search function!"? It's not helpful at all. In Support threads it is not tolerated to posts such responses, if you are in the Support board to help people you aren't really helping anyone by telling people to use the search function, even if the thread creator could have found the solution by searching. What you can do instead is to post a link to the thread where the solution can be found, which is not only helpful but also helps the users who actually do use the search function to find what they were looking for.

And how should they otherwise learn?, Was a day ago a guy who has been here for over 3 years, still dident search, just takes up forum space asking for things that already exist in a numerous of threads.

A good 90% of the time when I look for some thing on here.. most of the search results will be someone telling the thread starter to use the search option.. causing a really bad loop of frustration.
So I agree with you it is annoying to see the whole 'use the search option' thing posted all the time, it doesn't help anyone..
Just include the link, and tell people to use search in the future.. that way they can learn..
Problem is they dont learn, they will just come back and ask for a new search.
People have given links for years now, Still members with over 2 years ask for help when the exact script they want is a few clicks away.
I dont have a problem with people asking for a help to mod a script, but when they ex want elfs frag counter, its alot easier to use the search function.
