I appreciate the feedback.
But I think its safer for both sides to have the price ruled by hours, if you want me to fix a script for example, I dont know how well is the script implemented, even if I look at the code I can mess up pricing the effort. So for example, yesterday I upgraded and fixed a system from tfs 0.4 to 1.2, I thought it would be farely easy since the first request was to simply upgrade it, but then, after upgrading it, I found out that the system was really bugged/messy so that can mess up the price, if I set/charge before hand.
I also told the customer it took me more time than it should of so I didn't charge for the whole time I used, thats just common sense, I'm not here to screw anyone.
Also I don't request payments before I do the work, I first show the requested code working.
Which pretty much proves bayview's initial statement. An experienced software engineer/programmer/whatever can estimate accurately how much time a job requires to be done.
However, I personally don't see how "upgrading from tfs 0.4 to 1.2" can be considered programming. This is more of a system administration job than a programming one.
I really don't get why people come here to talk shit xD
I don't want to be friends with you buddy, go do other things.
Also like the way you are saying i'm copy pasting code but can't prove it.
People like you that have only been coding for tibia stuff on the internet is what get good people to not stay here xD
Edit
JeezzzzzzZz, just saw your profile and your recent posts, you probably don't have anything to do at all, huh?
Mind showing us some of your progamming portfolio, besides Tibia? This has been an open forum for the past 10+ years that I've been in. People are welcome to reply to threads and you have to accept the criticism as long as it falls in line with the rules.
