Someone is pinging my ots, the only thing i want to know is how to get logs? so i can see the ip and cut this ip out from my firewall. thanks in advance

ye but u have asked talaturen for making tutorial against ddos (because his server was never ddosed ?)so i refused that he is using linux .

You don't even need a firewall to disable ICMP requests. You can also limit ICMP echo requests, if you don't think that's possible then can you please explain what this line does?

iptables -A INPUT -p icmp --icmp-type echo-request -m limit --limit 2/s -j ACCEPT

I never said that it's not possible just not with an firewall.

If you haven't done this before, run this at command prompt / CTRL + R:

netsh firewall set icmpsetting 8 disable

softcores isn't running on windows

That's why it's great/good/nice/stable/secure/functional/etc/rox/etc/etc
