Mapping a graveyard proved too sizable a task for me to finish within the time limit; I was closing in on 40 minutes and still nowhere near finished. I managed to restrict myself in the detail department for the first few minutes, but my craze for pretty things got the better of me...
here's what I managed to piece together in 40 minutes which might leastwise prove useful as inspiration. I will probably finish this one shortly, tinkering around with this theme was quite enjoyable

yeah you might have gone a bit too huge in terms of map size in order to finish it in time but I think this is a very good inspiration for fellow mappers and I might work on it myself, too
Also Im glad to see you are so motivated because this is what this is all about

seems I'm going to use this map instead of xikinis mapThis is a great idea! Despite whitevo's request not adhering to the rules of this thread, I gave it a go. I originally tried to incorporate a gem-centered theme with dashes of purple mountain walls, but quickly strayed away from it in favor of the gray mountain walls as the contrast between the brown ground and the purple walls wasn't very pleasing to the eye

Location name: White Deer spawn point (its a bosslike creature - Rare Monster)
Location theme: Deep in green forest.
Rules: even thought you come from thick forest (lot of obstacles) this area should have little obstacles, because the monster is using charge spell, and if it has to go around objects, he most likely will just *puff* (wastes charge spell)

While you used your brilliant imagination to come up with your idea I did a small piece based on whatever @GhostX did his of, I'm a little rusty but this took me 10 minutes, 100% raw.
