Starting a global map 8.6 project - Tips?

I've been away from OTServer community for almost 2 years now, and now I'm back.

When I stopped messing with OT, the best REV was 3777 and Modern AAC as website

Anyone knows what's the best 8.6 rev, best website to work with and a good real map data pack to start working with?
