Hello and welcome back to my war server..

we've just been playing masserv and while this is an indecent server in my aspects, they did have something very nice: utamo vita-gameplay. Please look into this fribben :) you might find it's a LOT more fun than without.
 
yea its true, sweet server this one is on dedicated = no lags, masserv is not.
 
Give me ideas of how to encourge them to use utamo vita and I'll try my best to implement that idea :-)
 
Apparently waiting for a good oldschool warserver is like waiting for a bus, nothing... nothing... and then 2 come at once.

While it's great to see you hosting a polished 7.4 warserver on a dedicated host, Fribben, it's kind of annoying it's at the same time as Masserv. Because now the community will be split between the two instead of having 40+ on one server fighting like it was with Onds 7.4 warserver. :p

Edit: This server is totally lagless and a tonn more realistic than Masserv though. Would it be possible to add an !online function though? And could you make the shops sell a broader range of vaguely PvP related equipment such as rings of healing / stealth rings?

Also perhaps change the rune sprites for SDs and UHs and make mana fluids in buckets of the same capacity. And just generally keep an eye out for botters.

For example:
-Belliah The Sorc who's macro healing and battle screen aiming / aimbotting (got his macroing on cam -- him un-exhausted with mana, puff spamming while uhing and running. Got him shooting me under the roof too).
-Wu tang who's teaming with him and battle screen aiming / aimbotting and has hit me under the roof (got this on cam).
-Idiot who is auto vitaing and will only mana fluid up (got his instant vitas on cam too).

Can upload the cam for you, if you want. It's a shame people come to the few oldschool PvP servers around to cheat -- Really shows how pathetic they are.

I see what you are saying. But people suggested a war server to me without my knowledge that there's already one on the market. Would you like to sign up as a staff member? And take care of botters?
 
Wu tang is black sheep from originaltibia so if they bot here they probaly did it there also. and i think this server will succeed and masserv will fail now. just because this one is more realistic and laggless.

No offence to Massen and his server, but I hope he just takes his down for now because this one is a lot better.

I'll add some GMs soon, I'm temporary online and I gotta go now, but when I'll be back, you'll see some new GM's taking care of the server.
 
I guess the one prominent thing to promote utamo vita is to increase the mana given by fluids. I know this was not the way it was back in 7.4, yet this is probably the one thing that's gonna do it. And perhaps increase the sd damage so that double-sd hits will in 90% of the cases kill the target.
 
If you want to peoples use utamo vita, Fribben should change mana fluids to 7.6 formula that gives more mana, change more magic level and set player level to 40 thats all.
 
...Why do you want people to use utamo vita? People already use e-rings at the right times. Increasing the mana fluid amount is lame, it's 7.4 which is better. At least mages hang around to fight each other atm. Larger mana fluids just promite ue spamming and map clicking off... That's why 7.6 isn't as good as 7.4
