Tales of Middle-Earth - World Building
As the map for ACT I has progressed quite a lot, some areas and moods are taking form.
Therefore we would like to take you on a stroll through The Shire and beyond.
(Note: Everything still bound to change as some places are placeholders on the minimap)

Hey, awesome mapping showcase! The creativity in your designs really brings the world to life. It got me thinking about how game environments can amplify storytelling. Speaking of immersion, I recently stumbled upon Hollow Knight and realized how it leverages atmosphere too—every detail pulls you deeper into its horror narrative! It's fascinating how different genres can utilize mapping so effectively. Keep up the fantastic work; I'm eager to see more from this project!

City of Bree

Bree stands once more, when the project started it was my first city, a city of chaos, but no longer, now a town shaped by winding alleys, narrow corners, and the steady hands of its townsfolk.

A meeting place of Men, Hobbits, and passing Dwarves, Bree is known as a crossroads of trade and travel.
Many come and go along the road, yet not all who pass through do so unnoticed.

The town keeps a watchful eye.
Those found carrying stolen goods will find themselves behind bars, and smugglers would do well to choose their routes with care!

Though much has been rebuilt and reordered, Bree is still growing.
Need to border more.. 😅
