The Forgotten Server 10.98

Hello guys, it's been a long time since TFS 1.4.2 (Tibia version 10.98) was released, and since then we have never had any updates to this repository from the Dev team (they only work with the current version of Tibia). If you go to the original repository for this version, the compilation on Windows no longer works due to the lack of updates to the parameters related to the LIBs.

Due to this lack of updates to the original repository and taking into account that most of the community prefers the "Old Protocol" (versions prior to 11.x+, which was when there were major changes), I decided to bring this base to the community. It is TFS 1.4.2 with all the updates and bug fixes up to the present moment (and I will continue to update it in my GitHub repository).

With this, we will now have the most updated, stable and optimized version of version 10.98. That said, I will list the main differences in relation to the original TFS 1.4.2 repository.

[ IMPORTANT: It is worth mentioning that this is not a "downgrade", all commits were added individually and I discarded all those related to protocol modifications higher than 11.x+ ]

I created a branch for the repo with features, when I have time I will add some, or people can create PRs to add features to this branch

Oh sorry bro, now I understand what you meant. It's exactly what @GOD javii said, use myaac or test another website that is adaptable to Tibia version 10.98 !

The screenshots you sent show several things that are incompatible with the version (10.98), such as the search for "istutorial" in the database table players or "data/stages.lua" in the server's data folder.

Make sure you're installing myaac correctly for version 10.98

You were probably using opentibiabr version.

Yeah, that happen if the towns are not loaded into db. You will need to configure them in admin panel -> settings -> Game

You have graphics bugs, like screen above ?


If yes, there is a few options.
Transparency, maybe check through object builder 0.5.5, or item editor 0.5,
what is version of the sprites, signature, maybe they are different.
Sprites from few clients, mixed up, wrong flags, ids.
Windows 11.
Using canary or mehah things, with this als tfs 10.98
What's more ?
Check original items.otb, Tibia.spr, Tibia.dat, from official repository, here.
Scroll down, to the 1.4.2, windows-vcpkg, download this, extract, open folder data > items, paste where is Als tfs 10.98, data > items
