The players need to learn them. Check your spells.xml and change needlearn="1" to needlearn="0" for each spell you don't want the players to learn.

Hint: You can use the hotkey Ctrl+H on the notepad to change 'em all at once.

Use the search function.
But in spells.xml
change from

You have to allow WinRAR to open tar.gz files when you install it.
