Hello my old friend :] the "More than 100 listen errors" in my experience depends on your ports. If you haven't opened ports / firewall etc to make the server a viable for other players then this error will show up from time to time. Simply ignore it if you are developing and don't want it to be accessible from "the outside"

Well yeah ive read about that a little here and there, but the problem is that the server comp im using for hosting isnt connected to any router, it got a direct link to the net. xD
But aye, i guess its my software firewall acting up, imma poke it sometime and see what i can do... I only mentioned it really since i figured it might be of some value for a dev to know if doing a bugcheck, but thanks for the tip :)

Just a question for the devs... does sprite alignment against the current tile you're standing on, have to do with server or client?

Reason to why im asking this is because ive noticed that the 302 sprite (Green CM outfit) is badly aligned with the current tile it stands on.
It sortakinda floats about 0.5 - 1.0 CM towards the bottom right corner of whichever tile it stands on, making it look both shorter and oddly misaligned compared to all the other GM/Player sprites.

So i wanted to ask so i know if i should report it on the project board, or if i should blame CIP for beeing lazy.


(Oh and regarding the previous report of mine that the server displays "Wrong account NUMBER or password" upon logging in with wrong information, apparently that has already been fixed so i will not file a bugreport about that)

it's client side problem BLAME CIPSOFT FOR THEIR TS I CAN'T LOGIN FOR 3 HOURS :<
 
Why is the format with the lua files different than 0.2?
I dont like how when you try to edit they are horizontal.

Anyway to change that?

Get a texteditor that supports Linux' EOL such as Notepad++.

Yes they know about all.. I'm just curious why there is still any patch with fixes.. They have actually monopoly for TFS.. They know that you guys will wait and wait for next releases.. thats a points, they know that there is actually only 1 usable engine, and you'll do all to get it. Sorry, buy HOW CAN WE TEST SOMETHING IF THERE IS SOMETHING RELEASED AS BETA AND FOR ANY FUCKING EASY FIX WE MUST WAIT 1 MONTH?! Just waiting for times when there will be something released as said before in release dates.. Thats sad..

(I can't say all becouse my english is bad.. don't know important words which i wanted to use ;s)

actually its not 'we', but 'me'. Talaturen suggested to release alpha 4 after week and at november go beta- I said no, because beta = no features, and I want to finish everything thats possible to do.
dont worry, just 3 days left and there's last thing on 0.3 todo list- deprecating commands.
instead of blaming, if you want to help contribute, send me some patches or w/e. also, you can send me some commands in lua so i wont need to write them, easy?

* Fixed a crash which would happen on pretty much any 8.31 server, max length is probably 15360 if I remember correctly but I received lengths around 10k while I was debugging so I'm using 30k as max to be sure the fix won't have sideeffects.
