Just wanted to inform you that TFS login server now implements more strict checksum verification than CipSoft's servers which prevented YATC from connecting to TFS since at least 0.3a4. I've tracked it down to enforcing checksum to be correct, or else you presume the client not to be 8.3 compatible.

I have applied a fix to YATC; it didn't send checksum, and you enforced it. However this worked with TFS 0.2, OpenTibia and even CipSoft's servers. It is corrected now - but I wanted you to know how sick, twisted and perverted you guys are ;) ;)


Also thanks, since I removed a difference in protocols between Tibia and YATC which may have led to CipSoft discovering some of YATC-using players and banning them :)
 
Will you guys update right when the 8.4 update comes?

If Tala had a testserver account he could use to login and test some of the bugs he's currently faced with then he would be able to update the server before 8.4 comes out, otherwise it'll be updated just after 8.4 is released.

wow dude, i got too many bugs, exhausted is really slow, i changed it on config.lua and it doesnt work, whenever u try to reload something from the forgotten panel, the server saves and crashes the server.

I had that problem, I advise you to edit the db but not replace it

/n has been changed to summon NPCs, you can only make items using /i itemid amount.

Noob, gods see invisible people in their normal outfits. They ARE invis. Its fine.
 
I didn't see anyone post this issue so maybe its just me but with my server i have a few spells that create a damage over time effect when used and they don't work now, i just used the base distro files and tested the soul fire rune to see if it was my scripting that needed changed but it dint work either so maybe its just something that got changed that might need fixed. If anyone could help it would be awesome :p

I don't have that kind of problem. You said you tried to reload some scripts? That could cause the problem, maybe is your scripting knowledge not that high.:p

Why are you saying "I'm not a noob", do you need to convince yourself or something? I don't think you are a noob, you just need to explain your problems better. Don't spam the thread, use the edit button insteed.
And maybe post some examples of your problem. With the tekst "All talkactions are fucked up!!!!" we can't help.
