Tibia Minecraft Remake

Yep still gonna be online. Servers rented for 58 days... ;)

So, Mindrage and I were on the server last night and came to the conclusion that in minecraft we are gonna need to make tiles 4x4 minecraft to equal 1 32x32 tibian sprite. Thus being because i made the rookgaard temple, and started doing town and it was so small that it didnt look right unless thats what we're going for. To show how small tibia really is we believe things need to be bigger. Just my suggestion though.
 
Ya sorry i was tired when i posted that lol. For some reason i was thinking 4 squares was 4x4. But yea 2x2 is wht i meant lol. Gonna re-do rook when i get off work.
 
I need Venore pictures. So it will be agreed that a 2x2x4 will be used?

Tibia could never be recreated on minecraft with exact locations, this is due to terrain and biomes, so our best option is to make the cities and land marks where ever they can be properly situated, also we can ignore certain parts of the tibia map and ignore certain aspect of the minecraft biome.
 
Is the map size of minecraft limited? Or can you increase? "teleports" to other areas?
 
there is a limit, but it's hard to achive it by normal means, you can reach the limit of the mat by teleporting to it, that can damage the map, they say it take 34 days nonstop to go from the center of the map to one of the ends, just by walking/running.
There are plugins that allow the player to tp from one point to another.

Also we need to start and finish something first like rookgard tho it would be hard cause we can't make an island out of that... that would be find an island and start with that.
I think we should start with thais first! I want to star mapping it I hope it is ok if I start thais right in the spawn area.

Worked on it a bit, made a part of the thais temple near spawn.

Well i know that rookgaard should be a bit south west from thais. From looking at a real map on rme. But id be happy to help you with thais. As long as you let me build the castle lol. I like big things that should be beautifully decorated. And thinking about it. We're gonna need to make a mod that you cant walk over a certain til so you cant swim from rook to main lol.
 
Can you add blocks to prevent people swimming from rook to main? Lul?
