What Makes Tibia1098 Different From The Rest?
The focus of Tibia1098 is the community. Everything about the game (multiplied experience aside) remains the same except for a few key features.
Characters who are “caught” botting by the report system and validated will be put on a special list accessible on the home page. This will allow players to hunt bots at will. The idea behind this structure is that players can make hunting botters a part of the gameplay experience, while allowing players to do what they want. TOLERANCE.

- Character Creation
- One character can be created per account. Players are allowed to have more than one account.
- Character name, gender, and colours for outfit are selected randomly. The names are one word. If you do not like the randomly selected name, you can reroll on the creation page before creating your character. These character traits are what make a character’s identity and can not be changed.
- ONLY 1098 CHARACTERS CAN GET TO MAINLAND. AFTER 1098 CHARACTERS GET TO MAINLAND, CHARACTER CREATION WILL BE DEACTIVATED ON THE WEBSITE. A SECOND SERVER WILL BE CONSIDERED IN THE FUTURE.
- Rookgaard and Guild functionality
- All Characters start out in Rookgaard with citizen outfits. It is not only important to get to level 8, but to reach out in the community because you will need to be a member of a guild before leaving Rookgaard.
- Upon reaching level 8, characters have access to guild membership.
- To form a guild, a player must be level 8. The character’s gender must be male. Guild names must be one word, and are chosen by the character. Guild names can not be changed after creation.
- Guild leaders can then invite female characters to join their guild.
- Only one member can join the guild upon invitation from the guild leader.
- When a guild has both a male and female member, no more modifications can be made to the guild. The guild is an alliance between two players (the marriage element is a joke. This functionality is only for the purpose of randomness.)
- When a player is level 8, and a member of a guild, they can speak to The Oracle and choose their starting town on the mainland.
- If all requirements are met, a new character will be created on your account. Yes! You get to keep a character in Rook and play there or keep just for fun.
- All items and equipment will be copied over to newly created character on the mainland.
- VOCATIONS ARE APPOINTED AT RANDOM
