I have been sporadically checking in on this thread as I have been hoping for a new higher rated version. I do not think it will occur, but I have been very saddened by how Kay has attacked certain out spoken players with lies.

I After he'd quit Tibianic he spent about 10 years talking shit about Iryont and his server being "dead". Then, he played Tibiantis for less than one year, only to spend another 4 years talking the very same shit about us.

You are speaking about Zach here right? Aka Solado aka fourceburg? I think it’s extremely dishonest to

1 : lie (you know he played far longer than 1 year , he played since day 1 until we won the last war vs triads) . I was with his team after my team quit due to the ankrahmun quest being unsolvable at the time. You know this is a bold faced lie, yet you spread it.

2 : grossly misrepresent people with ad hominem attacks.

3 : only do these dishonest things after you banned a person from replying and twisting the narrative.

We feel it's the right moment to examine what works well and which areas or elements possibly require adjustments (and to introduce such adjustments if needed). What cip did back then is not important. If you want to manage a server like Tibiantis, you must use common sense and a bit of logic to manage players interactions and behaviors. Of course, if you will kill a lesser player with absolutely no connections between them, and do it over and over with no correlation or base, then it's simply destroying the users experience and long term the community this guy was part of. Anyone can kill anyone that's a fact that hasn't changed but doing it systematically from one user abusing the mechanics of frag system must get maximal punishment if it goes against the interest of the keeper.

Well, i do understand that abusing low levels and new players can damage the server and also make people quit. But, i guess there's the temporary ban of 3-7 days when you unjustified kill other players.

As you may recall, we announced that this year’s anniversary celebration would arrive a little later than usual, owing to the update set to be released at that time. And so, with all postponements past, we bring joyful tidings—the time has come for the festivities to begin! To mark this grand occasion, mobs across the land will bestow special anniversary tokens throughout the week—beginning on Monday, the 25th of August, and lasting until Sunday, the 31st of August. These tokens may then be exchanged for unique items with Christopher, ever the faithful NPC of our celebration. On Sunday, beginning at 21:00 CEST (twelve hours after the server save), tradition bids us gather for the grand finale, and we warmly invite you to join the merriment. As in years past, the gathering shall take place at Frodo’s tavern. Join us anew to brave the lags, freezes, wrongfully banned brothers, and other plagues that beset the world of Tibiantis!

The drop rate of anniversary tokens may vary from one mob to another, and it is not determined by the mob’s strength. Therefore, it may prove worthwhile to explore a variety of hunting grounds to discover where fortune favors you most. Happy hunting, and may your efforts be richly rewarded!

Just a few screenshots from the latest anniversary event... For those unfamiliar, the annual event pits players against seven plagues, which jokingly (but only slightly jokingly ) refer to real "afflictions" of the server. During the event, players can encounter dozens of different event mobs of varying strength. The mobs also drop anniversary tokens, which can be exchanged for items with NPC Christopher, sent by the gods to aid humans in this difficult world. Each year, there are new items to acquire, and the final raid always has a new twist to surprise players. Eventually, a big party is held at Frodo's.

I have a question: will there be an Android client on Tibiantis 8.6 (I heard it's supposed to be from mechanic 7.4)? Or maybe it will be on the newer version 10.98? I have a question: will the new Tibiantis have 1x or 0.1x experience? I haven't found that information.

Personally, I love the oldschool vibes from this too, feels almost as if it was made 20 years ago. Of course apart from much higher quality/resolution

We can't best in the current one if some have 100 ms less ping than us. Its about having a friendly latency server for 99% of Tibia diaspora discounting the few australian players...
