Under constant ddos attacks - how to stop?

Hello dudes,

Hope anyone can help me, I started my OT on a VPS, everything went fine unitl yesterday, my server started to disconnect from MYSQL and the webpage says that it can't be shown because the server is to busy, currently im on Windows Server 2003 Standard edition and using TFS 0.2.11 R4 For client 9.31 with uniform server and MODERN AAC :S, at this point i dont now what to do :S

Best way is to install linux and (D)DoS-Deflate - (D)DoS Deflate - deflate.medialayer.com

And a good webserver which example Slowloris wont work on (idk about any other flooding stuff) is LiteSpeed

And i think D-Guard firewall can protect against DoS. but i would say recompile server for linux and install Ubuntu or Debian ;>

Do I have to run this ? netstat -ntu | awk '{print $5}' | cut -d: -f1 | sort | uniq -c | sort -n

or just the installation thing?
