You sound like the owner? Honestly when I woke up this morning, the shadiest part was the discord closing.
The server is great, it’s a shame there’s gonna be people trying to abuse. As long as you gave people a real money refund I see nothing wrong. At end of day couple people ruined a bunch of peoples time. Shit happens, I don’t think if you open a new server you open people time compensation. You’re then just starting a new server with some people getting an advantage and the cycle repeats. People need to calm their shit be asking for double or triple xp if there’s a server crash.
Honestly think you need to try to reopen a server and try to let it grow naturally. A big server launch with 200 people, expect people to find bugs. Open a server that starts with 10/20/30 people.. let it grow naturally by buildings people trust as bugs are then found slowly.
Unless you’re just in it for the quick buck at the start.

I understand your concerns and we apologize if it caused any frustration to you like us but the scenario was wild:
1) Gold cloned but in 1 hour we installed the fix.
2) i got messages that ppl claim they got the gold from an Admin so i sent in staff chat and they showed it was clearly a gold clone in game with screenshots from the loggers.
3) Insults were outstanding all messages, discord server went extremely toxic for anybody in the development team.
In order to reduce frustration and be able to run another world even with a different owner, it had to be taken off, otherwise we would lose even ppl from the team that didn't participate in the new world.
Wrong claims always arise when issues happen, ppl expected us to keep up i agree it was different approach.
But lets call it a day, we did refund everybody and closed the server due to miss understanding of the community to our administration.
we created this server to complete its vision and the hope ppl would like, and it actually was happening till unfortunate circumstances took place, in regards of donations we don't really care we are refunding literally everybody it just takes time due to paypal stupid interface.
1) We have people trust that we are not into it for the money. (thats a subject only a fool would open again)
2) the Vision is accurate as it was thought since april last year.
3) we were very close and about to explode, but issues luckily appeared early.
Idk if ppl would join in again, but those issues that were found been always in game nobody noticed or could find them before maybe 2 years now in files without being noticed. So i disagree that starting small would help, tibia community doesn't work that way. i'd call it bull rug if they didn't refund but i think it was the right thing to do.

Probably the biggest servers also got the gold cloning.Points clonin,characters eq cloning. shit stuff always happens in alot of ots i would not say ots only? I would say even Biggest games like GTA V.

dont you guys remember when he had ~50 legit players (and 150 mcs on trainers) but he was doing random decision like deleting entire teams because they started to pk/fight or random changes to rules on safe trainers and runemaking?

couldnt agree more. also he has anger issues, ANY TYPE OF CRITICISM, HE RESORTS TO INSTA BANS, DELETES ETCETRA. As i said No one will join any of your servers because we are in our 30s-40s our time is limited, we want our time to be respected, server to be stable and playable, and time invested not go to waste. Yet any time i have played his servers i wasted money, i wasted time. Puzzling how he has made it in life this far with that type of mindset. Also dont say owner will change, its alaways you on fresh otland accounts , owners nhever change, its your 90th personality in the same rotten vessel

attackers couldn't cause a spike in-game so they went for the website that cause php-fpm to maximize memory and cause OOM, the attackers are unknown for sure as we cannot define who did it since he used vpns, but we have clues.
everybody was happy and enjoying their times till the OOM + rollback happened + clones, we just want to provide unmatched experience that the server deserves, anyway the new owner has been assigned and he decided to open free to play legacy server for anybody that is willing to play no need to donate everything is completely free store items will be sold for gold in "Sam" NPC, hopefully that makes up for your frustration and we can look forward to the future of the project again. unfortunate situations always happen, many ppl as you see didn't like exoria for just being owned by "Cblade" regardless he literally is refunding all donations to the ppl which i find confusing how you still say money grabber

Yeah, that's completely understandable. If someone leaked my work without even checking with me first, I'd be frustrated too. It's not just about the system itself — it's about respect and loyalty towards the creators. I get why he stepped away.

If you are starting fresh under a new name, then start fresh. There is no need to reopen topics that were already settled between us. We resolved everything, including additional payment for the damages caused, and we both went our separate ways. I understand how frustrating it must be to see a project shut down after only a few days, but making excuses or revisiting old situations will not change anything. Sometimes things simply do not work out.
As for players who feel they lost time or money, they are free to choose where they want to play next.

Nobody blamed you for leaking it because as you said it was resolved :
1) Blame was for the ppl that went to support such a negatively impacting act.
2) Advertising your server in another server's thread is :/ lame.

Also what is being banned in OTA have to do with that by all respect but this community people always getting banned there? If you are speaking about cblade,cblade is the only one who stood with me in natala project waking him up after raw .exe decided to ddos me for 8 hours straight killed all my vpses even got suspended from OVH because of that attack . Without cblade my project would have been ruined and I paied for his promising service the guy didnt left me until he made sure my ot works great. I dont think he is a Money grapper at all since he refunded every cent he took from the players.
Also again no need to mention him as an Arab just because some actions done.
