I gave the server another try. But honestly its just a EK game. Everyday the top 10 powergamers is 90% ek. Its just a solo game they never did any update to promote team hunting.

thats how it should look ek getting constant exp like 500k-2kk a day depending on his lvl while ms being able to hunt once every few days/once a week to burn his runes and getting 3x this xp but with full waste

if ms/ed is able to constantly exp and powergame theres no reason to play ek since as ek you need to outlevel other people to be relevant in both pvp and pve

Possible card data leak after paying on a website – two people affected, got banned for reporting it

I wanted to share something that happened recently, because it’s honestly weird and a bit concerning.
Two separate people (myself and a friend) made payments on the same website.
Different cards, different devices, different payment methods — and both of us had unauthorized transactions the very next day.
Here’s what actually happened:

Case 1: My payment (maybe 6month ago)
I paid by manually entering my credit card details on the site.
The next day, an unauthorized charge showed up on my card from some random gaming website I’ve never heard of.
At the time, I thought maybe it was just a coincidence.


Case 2: My friend’s payment (yesterday!)
He paid using Google Pay (so the website never even sees the card number).
The next day(today), he also got an unauthorized charge — this time from a completely unrelated online shop.

This is the part that raised my eyebrows.
Google Pay tokenizes everything, so if fraud appears right after a purchase made with Google Pay, something is really off.

Also: one of the payments was done on a fresh macOS installation, no extensions, no apps, nothing — so malware on our side is basically impossible.

Strange behavior on the website:
While trying to check the page’s source code during the checkout process, the browser kept showing an ERR_CACHE_MISS error instead of the actual source.

This doesn’t normally happen on a secure checkout page.
It usually means the page is being dynamically modified or reloaded by JavaScript, which can be a sign of injected or compromised scripts.
Not saying it’s definitely hacked, but the behavior is suspicious — especially combined with two unrelated frauds happening right after payments.

What happened when I reported it?
I tried to bring this up on the website’s Discord and asked them to investigate their frontend files.
Instead of checking anything or asking questions, the staff immediately banned me and removed me from the Discord.

No explanation.
No discussion.
Just a ban for reporting a possible security issue.

This doesn’t look normal, and people should at least be aware of it.
Not accusing anyone — just sharing what happened so others can be cautious.

I have full evidence of everything I described — screenshots of the payments, timestamps, the unauthorized transactions, and the ERR_CACHE_MISS behavior.
If anyone is interested or wants to take a closer look, I’m more than willing to share all of it.
 
A new tool to combat macros and bots is in the final stages of development and should be active on the server soon.

Don't you think 18 seconds is a very short timeframe, and the result is a permanent ban?

Or will the system work like the old square-floor room, activating with the creation of one rune?
 
must be fun to play some moba game or shooter while making runes and getting such pop up when u want to spent ur mana quickly


somehow miracle got mega invasive client and wants to add more annoying things which wont help at all meanwhile tibiantis doesnt care if u run sandboxie in background or ahk/python or hella even bot on other ot yet they have no problem with mc bots or any other form of cheaters

Yes, the captcha is only enabled after executing a conjure spell or others actions that can be configured to catch bots in training and similar things. This captcha should’t appear on your screen if you are away and not performing any action.

First the system will be setup with warnings, logs and such to check all it’s integrity.

Currently our client is much less invasive than it was at the beginning of the server's development. We still check processes, but this no longer causes automatic bans and has simply become one of our tools. All the magic happens between the client and the server for more advanced detections.

Currently our client is much less invasive than it was at the beginning of the server's development. We still check processes, but this no longer causes automatic bans and has simply become one of our tools. All the magic happens between the client and the server for more advanced detections.
Excellent, I think you have everything under control, I like that.

But I think we're still having problems with the Game Guides on the website.

There are currently many changes within the game and new items from the continent of Nivandria, and those tables haven't been updated yet. It's very frustrating to wait, sometimes for months, for these tables to be updated with the correct current values.

Items/Mining, and I think very soon the new fishing system, which might be officially released soon with the new fishing rods crafted by the blacksmith.

I see your point. I also play moba so making runes while having to handle this shit on ranked can be stressfull.

But I honestly believe more ways of controlling the population just means more work in the end that doesn't fix the system. To really combat cheating in Tibia when it comes to runemaking etc I genuinly believe that you have to apply some kind of out of the box thinking and rework the entire system.

You can limit cheating by 90% (or maybe even 100%, as no experienced cheat dev will be even interested in making their cheats undetected for some OT, and nobody is going to sell them for 10 usd per month), but you won't have any players if there won't be any possibility to cheat.

It limited the population because it didn't support <=Win7, so many SA players were unable to play. Cheaters will always find a way around, but it was working pretty well at excluding all of the popular bots (you tell me?). Anyway, I'd recommend it, as it really did something. Of course, it doesn't block macroing or self-made pixel bots, but that's another topic.

Yea that might be reason aswell.

We're speaking about few individuals (at most) with some knowledge, that are hobbyists and don't sell bots, this has zero impact to the game if you have less than 10 cheaters. I don't believe any public bot dev was interested in spending time finding a 0day for EAC that'd be eventually fixed five days later if went public, or writing a driver for...tibia bot.

None of these that I know supported your server at that time. Plus it takes care about code integrity of your game.

Of course, it doesn't block macroing or self-made pixel bots, but that's another topic.
I don't know much about EAC implementation, but on other games like Apex Legends you're banned for using any usermode input method (I was banned for using sendinput on aimbot). People been doing really low level shit like crafting USB packets for external aimbotting in some EAC protected games, or using microcontrollers to spoof HID.

Solutions like that aren’t sold for ten dollars, and realistically no one is going to pay seventy dollars (or something like that) a month, just to bot a knight on dwarves.
 
Will I be banned if I play on MAC, which uses the Wine emulator to execute your client Windows executable?

Additionally, will I be banned if I have Python or any other programming language processes running in the background while I am online in the server?

Playing on wine is allowed.

About processes, currently most blacklist processes are detected silently, and this has become merely an indicator of a more robust internal system.
