Yeah, but u forgot to say that last years ultimate manas didn't exist or atleast this one with 1,3k, as u see in your last edition when u decide to add it and fail on it= 1 week of server, the other world that started of 2016 or earlier of 2017 no remember good, had the ultimate mana of every edition 400 gp, and people played for over a 2 months with a 300 ppl ~ every day, then u decide it to add this and look. make what u want but u can try to change maybe works this time cuz last edition of newera fail.

I'll never realize this, but the things you don't like with the server isn't why anything died.
There's multiple things people say why it died, just because to them that seems the most logical.

The only reason Newera died was of 2 things and two things alone.
1: Automatic deletion of all cheaters, nobody could even use macro for free runes, and those people can't live without macroing so they left the server.
2: The reason I had to go away for 2 weeks out of the blue due to moving IRL, people paniced and thought I abandoned the server and started to quitting even more.

After that, BELIEVE WHAT THE F YOU WANT, it's ONLY those two that made Newera die.
Don't forget that shortly after the world merges, Antica reached 100+ players online again.
Tonight, it's peaking 80 players which is the highest for 2 weeks.

DarkOT doesn't really die.. it goes idle, just to wake up little later..
Or have you forgotten February, when Antica went from 10 players peak to 300 players peak within 2 weeks and then it was alive and thriving for months ahead.

Yeah, why waste time on a server that doesn't reset.. way better playing 18 hours/day for 2 weeks and that server get reset, and repeat a few days later..

Don't forget that DarkOT in 2015, I deleted a Gm for starting a macro on his private character.. and he will never be Gm again in DarkOT because of that tiny mistake.
Bugs: Yes soo many, so fucking many bugs, Specially outside Venore north-west gate, they're good exp for low lvls thou..

And I guess you're Beckham, the guy who got banned and eventually deleted for destructive behavior on a massive level, being racist towards other, calling out names, killing a lot of low levels without any reason and insult pretty much every player and finally, trashtalking the game trying to make people quit, and after I delete you, you threat with you're gonna hack DarkOT and wreck it..
But as your actions wont work in DarkOT, you come here to OTland and try to make up stories and wreck it that way..

Alright, I'm a tutor in DarkOT, been for quite long now - I was also a CM in Marcus' other server Thorsan. I have enjoyed DarkOT with a few rl friends quite a lot actually. I will write this from my own perspective, without aiming my opinions to one side or the other.

Haven't found any bugs - The casino had some bugs earlier but they are dealt with, no harm done. Marcus took it under the scope really fast and worked non-stop until it was fixed. This is where I admire his work and his dedication, which some people doesn't even see - I'm sometimes in Teamspeak with him when he works and we discuss this and that - but the majority of the players doesn't actually know how much effort he puts to the server. Sincerely, he finds bugs which the players haven't even discovered yet, and fixes them - major bugs which could somehow be abused in a very bad way. But nobody knows about them so everyone of course whines about some minor issues.

Botters - there might be some, I guess they are mainly aimbotting or using auto-heal or manafluids with hotkeys, I don't know. I haven't encountered any extreme botters so far. And when they get caught, Marcus will delete their main account, as well as all other accounts that are linked to the main account, with no mercy. Even though the client itself doesn't allow you to use bots, somehow someone gets it working anyway, but the staff knows about these cases too.

Spoofed characters - If I'm not wrong, this means that there are afk characters in the server to boost the amount of online players? Nah, there are no spoofed characters in DarkOT, if it's not by the players. You are allowed to use 3 clients at the same time, so that might add a few since the knights usually train with 2 clients with a monk. But that's it, basically. But I know that the staff wouldn't do that kind of things. They have a lot more to do on the computer than constantly dance on 10 clients to keep the noobchars online That's a hilarious thought, tho

Corrupt staff - This is simply a stupid accusation. I have played here since the beginning, talking with Marcus and playing with him when he's on his paladin, I forgot to buy vials for blood, when we were entering the Pits of Inferno and when we got to the gravestone, I realized it. We both just laughed and I ran back to Venore to get the vials. He could've come to us on his Admin character and make a few empty vials for us, but that would be against his working ethics. He, nor the CM Desilla does anything like that on their tool characters. Even if he's out scouting some players etc. and I asked like "So, who all are there?" He just replied that he doesn't answer that question, I have to go and check myself. If he'd tell me the players names who were at that place then, it would be unfair, because I would've got the information because of his Admin abilities. He is very strict about these kind of things.

There are major content updates already planned and Marcus is constantly working on them. New creatures, quests, items, areas etc. But when he goes for such updates, he doesn't rush them and then listen to complains and fix them day and night. He prefers perfection in his work and makes sure that everything works as intended at the first go.

Just my opinions and experiences in DarkOT, since the beginning to this day

Ever heard about Boots of mystic? a never solved quest because nobody yet have figured it out.. meaning I haven't done it with my char, and I've not shared any information about it.
It's just so fucked up you suggest because I happen to be in a guild for the hunts and quests part, meaning I'd leak valuable information about quests and mysteries.. I'm not some fucking low dick hoster that goal is to become the superior in my own server like many of the download and run servers that exist, I treat everyone equally and I don't share or being extra nice to anybody at any point.

If you haven't noticed, I run a few internet business and run DarkOT as a fun project because I love it, does that scream I'm some low life asshole that's gonna abuse and do shitty things?

And I didn't realize you could login with bunch of lvl 8's and then afterwards report a server for spoofing.
I have nothing with spoofing to do, if any of the kind is happening it's without my permission and such players trying to spoof my server gets deleted without mercy.

PVP: Go play somewhere else if you can't handle I'm looking for the future PVP-systems and abandoned the ancient Tibia PVP system which is clearly out of date since it fucks up wars but yet promote power abusing.

Speed.. Welcome to 7.4 mate, that's how speed worked in 7.4, 7.5, 7.6, 7.7, 7.8, 7.9, 8.0 and so on for a few years more..
All TRUE oldschoolers know for example, level 128 means speedboost and they're all refereed as "speedboost".

And I'm starting to think that you're not an adult at all.. how could you be.. you act like a 12 year old and the fact that you didn't knew about the speed of old tibia just screams you were never playing rl tibia at all during the old days.

I wouldn't even ask Marcus for hints about anything, nor information about some upcoming updates, because I don't want to know anything that the regular players don't, and I know that Marcus wouldn't tell me anything anyway

For example the manafluid update, I could've bought a ton of manafluids before the update when they changed to be very expensive - But I never knew about the upcoming changes.
The only thing that I have asked about some "secrets" was that: "Does Boots of Mystic quest really exist?" and the answer was yes. Tried to solve it for quite a while but didn't really get anywhere :S
