I'd like to say i want to discover it more but... 500 gp for the spellbook? i dont know what spells to use as "white mage". Also it doesnt feel smooth to walk if u know what i mean. Is it me? Cause im from europe? It feels so stucky dunno whats wrong... :/

Spellbook is now only 50 coins and all White Mages come with one on the backpack.

something seems weird with 'map clicking' too, half the time when you click on the map your character takes two steps then stops, not sure why

i think reducing the movement speed of the basic monsters would help archer/mage alot too, rats, wolf, spider, larva, skeleton, etc all seem to have the same movespeed as you do, so you cant really outrun/kite and kill them as a archer/mage

All basic monsters had a revision on their speed. Thank you again for the feedback!

First day update:

- Cheap premmium points starting on 2 USD
- All basic monsters speed revised
- Arrows and spellbook lower prices
- Some info added on Priest NPC to help the new players
- All mages start with a spellbook now
- Changed the minimum level of light spell to 1
- Lower minimum level to spells

On the Roadmap:

- Task NPC
- Beginner NPC
- Some changes on respaws

How is this helping mages when they are melee like knight because theres no wands :/
Also i would suggest increasing exp rates, playing on 1x exp is no fun especially when you take into consideration that people play on OTS to run away from 1x that rl tibia has. Grinding 30 minutes from level 7 to 8 is the worst possible scenario for this OTS because it has so much potential. :)

But following your suggestion, we can implement a exp stage to lvl 20, to make things easier for new players. What do you think?

Following Paner suggestion we implemented a Exp stage:

LEVEL 1 to 9 = 3x more exp from monsters
LEVEL 10 to 19 = 2x more exp from monsters
LEVEL 20+ = normal exp

whens this exp stage gonna take effect? atm its still normal exp, im lvl 10 and trolls give 35 or w.e it is still :P

You know you could've made exp at least 2x and just make more endgame for players with high level. People stop playing because they are getting bored at higher levels because there is literally nothing to do besides getting more exp which is boring after a while.
I would totally recommend setting exp stage to 2x at all times with +4,+3 at lower levels. I can't imagine advancing with exp set to 1x, this is going to be painful as fuck but that just my opinion I'm curious what other people might think about that.

Those graphics are amazing!

EDIT: Also apples and meat are still weak, eating 10 meat for 2 minutes of regen yay!
EDIT 2: Path finding is not working as someone earlier mentioned, if there is a bush or monster in a way of path finding is stops and can't go around it.

Paner we are thinking about exp rates. But i dont wanna a power level server. I wanna a server like tibia old times. When level isnt everything.

But lets see how the new rate looks to see if we need improve it.

About the graphics we still hava a lot of room to improvement. It will be good if we made a list of top sprites that need to be improved.

Maybe some kind of poll at website would be nice to see what people think about it. I personally hate the idea of grinding for 5 hours just to get few levels and then eventually have fun at some events/quests. And even exp x5 is not power level server if you can make it smart to keep higher level players occupied for months. I personally love so called "RPG" servers but that's just too much for me :D
 
i dont think the exp rate is the problem, its the rate at which you kill monsters to gain exp, adding some basic low level damage abilities, and buffing knights basic tankyness so they can work as blockers without using 500 pots an hour would open up team hunting options a bit

also the lvl 6 healing ability with magic lvl 5 only heals like 4 hp for 20 mana, its not even worth using to heal, just buy pots that heal for 150s and use the mana on light/ammo :(

think the heal should be buffed to help hunt, i used my full 250 mana to test how much hp i would heal, and gained 44 hp total, means that mana potions are in-ately worthless as well, because your better off with hp pots, heal 3x more for same price

also only mages can use the 'crystals' at level 15, archer is short by about 50 mana to create the fire crystal, which means that knight is probly 200 short, i'd suggest a % mana consumption, or just lowering the total to be useable by all classes at level 15.

on a side note, ive explored quite a bit, and im loving the unique graphics this server has, and the unique monsters im running across in the caverns and mountains spread about sethien.

The healing formula is based on lvl + ml. We can create some low lvl spells with a fixed ammount of healing/damage.

About the crystals, we will work today to see what we can change to help lower levels.

i cant figure out what destroy crystal does for the life of me lol, ive made 2 of them but cant find what they do

also, can you make iron shields sellable to the weapon npc, theyre dropped a lot and you cant sell them, but the npc buys wooden and steel shields, im assuming steel is better, so would make sense if he bought iron too

I would probably think they are destroy fields. It's kinda intuitive

hmm, it could be, havent come across a firefield or anything yet to test it though, guess we'll find out eventually

can you seriously look into the miss chance of an archer with a bow, im at 40 distance, and the 5-6 misses in a row on every other monster is making the class feel unreliable :(
 
I will work on this mini update tonight!

- Archers miss
- Better light spell
- Crystal list
- Minimum level to use crystals
- better healing/attack spels for low levels
 
This looks great...interesting and fresh. I just hope you guys wont take the same road tibia did and just make everything easy because people want everything held on a plate. Will try this out when i get time! Goodluck with it.

We are trying to do something old school, where players need to discover how things works. Plus we dont wanna a powerlevel server where in 2 weeks everyone is level 200+.

Also we are trying to put all spoil "in game" not on a website. The players need to read books and discover things himself.
 
Are you creating your sprites or ripping them, just out of curiosity?

We made like 50% and 50% are free graphics of internet.
