want to start mapping, which client?

Hello,

I'm new to mapping and was wondering which version I should download. My goal with mapping is to make things I wish I would play, and have them up for download for people to enjoy them.

tl;dr what would be the most used mapping software which would benefit most people?

Are you talking about auto border?
You can enable autoborder by clicking A and selecting a non raw template such as "groundbrush" for example and place water and then grass on the water and it will automaticly border the grass for you.
A recommendation is to use RAW only because the map will look better.
