We're Hiring: Lead Developer for Serious OTServ-Based Project (Inspired by PxG, GLA)

We're building a serious, long-term project based on the OTServ ecosystem, inspired by popular servers like PxG and GLA and we're looking for a Lead Developer to kickstart our core development team.

This is a key leadership position, ideal for someone with deep technical knowledge and experience managing teams within the OTServ space.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and structure the development of a fully customized OTServ-based game
• Manage a small but growing team of developers (server/client/web)
• Define the tech stack and best practices from the ground up
• Oversee both server-side and client-side architecture (e.g. TFS/Canary + OTC)
• Collaborate closely with founders and designers to align technical execution with game design

Requirements:

• Proven experience in OTServ development (especially with custom projects like PxG/GLA)
• Strong understanding of C++, Lua, and OTClient (or OTCv8)
• Experience in managing or mentoring development teams
• Ability to create scalable, maintainable systems and tools
• Passion for innovation in gaming and MMORPG development
• Excellent communication skills and autonomy
• Fluency in English or Portuguese
