Feeling good, thats what I do.
In few days I will come to the point to rework Whi World reputation feature.
How would you like to gain reputation towards npc's?
What advantages, bonuses you prefer to obtain when having higher reputation towards npc?
This is how currently reputation feature works.
You do something specific for npc (usually help them with mission or collect something for them)
In return you get reputation points.
When 100 reputation is reached you get reputation level and reputation points are set back to 0
Higher level of reputation towards npc usually unlocks new features and/or bonuses.
Here are few examples what I have came up with so far:
1. Whenever monster is killed you gain reputation towards "npc 1"
Reputation gained from monster depends on its strength.
The higher is your reputation level towards "npc 1" the less rep you get (can be 0)
Each reputation level unlocks a challenge event, where you fight waves of monsters.
Event rewards are skillpoints and gems.
2. You collect bundle of herbs for "npc 2" to gain reputation.
Each time you get less and less reputation from same herbs. (until to the point you no longer get rep)
The higher is your reputation level the more secrets npc reveals about rare herbs.
3. You collect bundle of tanning materials for "npc 3" to gain reputation.
Each time you get less reputation from same materials. (until to the point you no longer get rep)
Higher reputation levels opens up secondary shop where you can buy upgraded versions(more stats) of some specific theme of items.
4. You collect food for "npc 4" to gain reputation.
Each time you get less reputation from same food. (until to the point you no longer get rep)
Higher reputation levels unlock new missions and guides how to create dishes (self made food)
I still have 4 more npc's left, but I'm out of ideas, have something interesting ideas to share?
