Well, otserv is a different engine from tfs
crying damson is a very old tfs engine that was used when 8.6 was actually new
tfs 1.2 is a new engine that's more modern and powerful and there was a version adapted to work backwards with 8.6
I haven't used any of them for 8.6 but I always stand by 1.2 personally
